Life-ARCHITECT (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (2023/2026). This document constitutes the entire agreement regarding your data privacy and our legal liability.
PART I: DATA PRIVACY (DPDP COMPLIANCE)
1. DATA MINIMIZATION & COLLECTION
We collect only the bare minimum required for operation.
- Account Data: We collect your Name and Gmail Address. Authentication is handled via Supabase Email Login.
- User Content: Your tasks, habits, and journal entries are synced to our servers.
Crucial Note: We have architected the database such that Company personnel have no visibility into the semantic content of your private data.
- Device Data: We track only the Device Category (Phone/PC) and Operating System (Windows/Mac/Android/iOS). We do not collect version numbers or hardware IDs.
2. STORAGE & TRACKING
- No Cookies: We utilize Web Local Storage for session persistence. We do not use tracking cookies.
- Google Analytics: We monitor UI engagement (tab clicks, section visits). All such data is anonymized and encrypted.
- Server Location: All data is physically stored in the AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region, India.
3. PERMANENT ERASURE
When you click "Delete Account," we perform a Hard Delete. Your data is immediately and permanently purged from our production servers. We maintain no "shadow copies" or residual access once deletion is confirmed.
PART II: THE LEGAL SHIELD (LIMITATION OF LIABILITY)
IMPORTANT: THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS ARE DESIGNED TO PROTECT THE COMPANY FROM ALL LEGAL ALLEGATIONS. BY USING THIS APP, YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO SUE FOR DAMAGES EXCEEDING A SPECIFIC CAP.
4. "AS-IS" SERVICE WARRANTY
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT THE APP WILL BE BUG-FREE, UNINTERRUPTABLE, OR THAT DATA LOSS WILL NEVER OCCUR.
5. THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY CAP
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF LIFE-ARCHITECT, ITS FOUNDERS, AND AGENTS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SERVICES IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT.
IF YOU ARE A FREE USER, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS CAPPED AT ₹100 (ONE HUNDRED RUPEES).
6. THIRD-PARTY INFRASTRUCTURE SHIELD
Life-ARCHITECT relies on AWS, Supabase, Google Cloud AI, and Razorpay. We are not liable for any data breach, leak, or downtime originating from these third-party providers.
7. AI "HALLUCINATION" & ERROR DISCLAIMER
The AI Command Bar is an experimental tool. We are not liable for inaccuracies, offensive content, or the underlying security of the Google Cloud AI API.
PART III: SECURITY & PROTECTIONS
8. RESPONSIBLE DISCLOSURE (SAFE HARBOR)
If you discover a vulnerability, you must report it to support.lifearchitect@gmail.com and allow us 7 business days to fix it before public disclosure.
9. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold Life-ARCHITECT harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these terms.
PART IV: GRIEVANCE & JURISDICTION
- Grievance Officer: The Founder (support.lifearchitect@gmail.com).
- Resolution Timeline: Acknowledgment within 24 hours; resolution within 7 business days.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal action must be brought exclusively in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
